A Milestone Moment for the Government Contracting Capstone Program
White Plains, MD - November 19, 2024 - This week, the Southern Maryland Minority Chamber of Commerce (SMMCOC), in collaboration with the Maryland APEX Accelerator, celebrated the first in-person session of our four-month Government Contracting Capstone Program—and what a success it was!

Held in Southern Maryland and hosted by Pamela Minor, President and CEO of SMMCOC, this session brought together an incredible cohort of small business owners and entrepreneurs who are ready to elevate their Federal marketplace efforts. With a strong focus on learning, collaboration, and connection, participants engaged in dynamic discussions and built meaningful relationships that will pave the way for future opportunities.

"I joined this Capstone to develop meaningful relationships in the federal government and with other businesses... I would highly recommend participating in programs like this one" said APEX Accelerator client, Adisra Jittipun, CEO of iCallidus.
Led by Judy Bradt, CEO of Summit Insight and author of "Government Contracts Made Easier", this program provides:
✅ Strategic Growth for Federal market success
✅ Expert Support from APEX Counselors
✅ Targeted Connections with Federal offices and influencers
✅ Innovative Strategies to turn small wins into major projects
We’re proud to see the energy and enthusiasm in the room and can’t wait to see how this cohort uses these tools and insights to achieve strategic growth and lasting impact.
